This elegant historic residence is now home to some of the region’s most fascinating museums. A testament to Sicilian Baroque art, the building invites visitors on a captivating journey through artistic collections, musical instruments, the history of olive oil, and much more. Originally owned by the Cultrera di Montesano family, Palazzo Montesano was built in the 18th century with the expertise of two renowned architects. A perfect example of Sicilian Baroque architecture, the palace is distinguished by its elegant frescoes, decorated ceilings, and meticulous artistic details.

The interior halls still preserve period furnishings, wrought iron chandeliers, and finely frescoed walls that reflect the grandeur of a bygone era. In some rooms, noble family crests can still be admired, serving as a reminder of the palazzo’s aristocratic heritage.
